40mm deep rims are great for those of us that live in windy places or who enjoy climbing. They have enough of an aero advantage to give you a boost, and they’re also light enough to suit that lightweight climbing bike you have. Aero 40 disc wheels with Centerlock disc brake DT Swiss hubs are the perfect example of a good 40mm deep set of wheels.
To keep the weight down on our Aero 40 wheels we have constructed the rim from Toray T700 and T800 carbon fiber. Toray is the best carbon fiber cloth in the world, so we don’t try and hide that we use it by creating new marketing names for the stuff.
The combination of the cloth allows us to build you a 40mm deep tubeless ready rim that is stiff, strong, and light.
At the heart of these wheels, you’ll be able to pick from 2 DT Swiss options. You can pick from the lighter 240S or, the more affordable 350S. Both options feature the star ratchet system and thru axles. You’ll find a 12 x 100mm front thru axle, and the rear comes in a 12 x 142mm option, to allow you to have a stiff wheel that stands up to the forces of disc brakes.
To lace the wheels, we have used Sapim CX-Ray spokes. Sapim CX-Ray spokes are some of the lightest on the market, they are one of the most fatigue resistant spokes, and above all, they are aero.

2-Way Clincher Tubeless. Tubes or No-Tubes
Use either traditional tires with tubes, or tubeless tires without tubes. Tubeless tires can provide lower rolling resistance and better protection from punctures.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
